James Cameron says hasta la vista to the Oil Spill crisis?

According to many sources, beloved filmmaker James Cameron who is the director of such blockbusters as The Terminator 1 and 2, Titanic, and Avatar was asked to sit in a brainstorming session with scientists on how to combat the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico due to his extensive knowledge of underwater filming and because they heard he studied physics or something in college. But he graciously said "hasta la vista" to helping the scientists. This is disappointing because we all know we want to see the oil spill in HD 3D. I think the conversation would go something like this.

Oil Spill Expert Guy:  Mr. Cameron, what are your ideas for combating the oil spill?

James Cameron: I dunno, but throw these glasses on!  It's like the spill is coming right at us!

Or what if he casts Sam Worthington in the oil spill? Because Sam Worthington can really carry an oil spill and has to learn the ways of the oil spill and he falls in love with it. And he sticks with it when the government wants to nuke the spill. Then he has to fight that marine guy from Avatar. Like Sam would start shooting oil at his ship, but that guy's like just standing there drinking coffee. That guy was cool. Yeah

...yeah
